Small Business Communication

When you have a small business, how important is it to communicate with clients? VERY!

When you have a small business, how important is it to have a smart phone? TBD!

As a freelancer, I’m readily available to many clients. It is difficult to do so when your primary means of communication (the smart phone) is currently in disrepair. For the foreseeable¬†future, I’m struggling with a temporary flip phone. I’m not really sure how much I like it. It feels a little bit like learning to swim for the first time.

I’m not really sure how much I like it. It feels a little bit like learning to swim for the first time. It’s also given me a means to step back, observe my means of communicating with clients and is giving me an opportunity to pause, think, and think more before I respond to that email, voicemail, or pigeon.

I’m relying¬†heavily on my email service, call forwarding, client relationship manager (CRM), Toggl (time management), and my Passion Planner to make sure I’m on task for my clients.
